My Playlist is a series where we ask some of our favourite artists to share some of their favourite songs, and while it may give us a bit of insight into some of their influences, we’re actually more interested to know what they enjoy listening to when they’re not making music.

MarMar is an American living in France who is crafting a unique blend of future-garage and chill-house music, which has a sound that can be likened to a mix between Duskus, Pocket and Wes Mills.

Over the last month he has given us two exceptional new singles with ‘Call On You‘ and ‘Try (feat. LUUNG)‘ which also came with news of a six-track ep titled “Feel Okay” that he’ll be releasing in May via Seeking Blue Records.

This week MarMar is giving us a look at some of the songs that have inspired his own songwriting, some songs that he finds he keeps returning to and some songs that are full of emotion that really resonate with him.

I reckon we’ll be seeing of lot of this guy over the next few months so let’s dive right in and get to know what he’s all about.

“These are some of my most listened to and favorite tracks at the moment. Some super cool production from some great artists. I also added some of my favorite emotional songs that I like alot right now!” ~ MarMar
