BIGSOUND 2023 Unveils Second Speaker Lineup

Australia’s largest music industry party BIGSOUND has just dropped it’s second speaker lineup – and it’s already looking to be one of the annual event’s most iconic rosters to date with a one-two-punch announcement of industry juggernauts.

Hot off the heels of acclaimed Netflix series WHAM! Simon Napier-Bell joins this year’s list of guest speakers to share his decades long wisdom of documenting the lives of some of music’s biggest names . With a resume that includes managing the late, great George Michael, The Yardbirds and Boney M, this living legend is set to descend upon Fortitude Valley this September for his not-to-be-missed in-conversation in the conference segment of this year’s program.

BIGSOUND is also excited to announce highly acclaimed, Grammy award winning composer Simon Franglen to the event. With more than 400 music credits to his name, Franglen has spent over three decades in the industry, working with legends like Michael Jackson to Madonna, as well as playing a pivotal role in the creation of music for the likes of big screen blockbusters like The Amazing Spiderman. On creating this year’s speaker roster, BIGSOUND had this to share:
