Following on from his collaborative EP with Ian Ewing earlier this year titled ‘Tulips’, Cloudchord is back at it with another bright and shiny release that is uplifting as they come in ‘Sundrop’, a six-track offering that indulges us with sun-drenched inspiration and captivating grooves that take you immediately to a much happier state of mind.

Featuring collaborations with the likes of ProbCause, Braxton Cook, Adam Deitch of Lettuce, Balkan Bump, and Janet Guenther, ‘Sundrop’ does as it name suggests and injects a small dose of summer within each and every track that comes our way. With glistening guitars, funk-inspired grooves and bass lines and ethereal vocals, Cloudchord provides listeners with a charismatic and utterly irresistible soundscape that ensures plenty of good times are to be had.

“On Sundrop, I was inspired to merge elements of Lofi with neo soul and even tropical genres. Someone told me the ep sounds very “Island-y.” – Cloudchord
