Following on from his debut album ‘Energy Demonstration’, Denver producer GILA returns with a mysterious and offbeat new single titled ‘NANAO’ that features the haunting vocals of Chinese-American producer and experimental pop musician KLOXII which is also accompanied by a stirring short film directed by Jay Swuen.
‘NANAO’ travels through with an experimental approach, mainly evident in the quirky drum pattern bubbling away in the backdrop amongst the swirling pads and synths which create a haunting sensation that is matched by the divine nature of KLOXII‘s angelic vocals. The intensity created in the audio is heightened further through the gripping music video, with the stunning choreography by Jas Lin exemplifying the topics of codependence and toxicity within relationships.
