Southern Californian rapper Aries follows up recent release ‘RACECAR’ in quick succession with the laid back driven ‘BLOSSOM’, which in comparison to his last release sees a contrast into a more carefree nature in his approach throughout this concise 2 minute 8 second offering.
‘BLOSSOM’ creates an ambiance from the beginning through the colourful guitars that lead the piece in before the booming bass and sweeping synths are injected through the mix. Aries once again provides a playful nature in his melodies that carry a buoyancy throughout, while utilising his production prowess to heighten the choruses through crisp harmonies that blend cohesively. Throw in the simplistic nature of the percussion to an already jam packed mix and you’ve got another hit from the rising young rapper.
