Fresh from touring alongside the likes of Flight Facilities RÜFÜS DU SOL, Canadian indie/electronic duo HUMANS bring forth an enticing late night groover with their latest single ‘Going Late’, centred around a deep house influence that hypnotises through every single note.

Carrying just over a 10 minute long duration, ‘Going Late’ builds subtly and chooses to give each individual element its time to shine. HUMANS achieve this through the emphasis on the rich keys and driving percussion, with the splashes of colour in the playful guitars that lay the foundations for the charismatic vocals to enchant you with an effortless delivery. Rounding out with an intensified use of the resounding bass, ‘Going Late’ locks you in from the word go and keeps you wanting more throughout its duration.

The accompanying video acts as a throwback to the 1970s/1980s film era, where viewers follow the step by step journey of a night out on the town. Highlighting various differing aspects throughout the journey, including the clever dance battle, the video takes a shorter journey than the audio but does not compromise on the core story within.
