Travy P - 'Mistakes' (ft. I.E.)

Following the success of his ‘Point EP’, which was released via WVS in mid-2017, Brisbane rapper Travy P has returned with a brand new single, ‘Mistakes’, featuring Sydney songwriter and label-mate I.E.

The instrumental itself is relatively standard, with warm 808 sub-basses pumping consistently, underneath the harsh hi-hats. The lyrical flow is where things get interesting though. The grand, introspective new banger has Travy P lending a slick, melodic flow over the gloomy production, reflecting on his past, present and future moods either side of the enigmatic I.E. hooks.

This is a strong start for Travy P in 2018.
