Brisbane-based electronic artist and producer du0 unveils his sparkling new EP ‘Float’ this week – featuring five of his most effervescent and colorful synth driven releases to date. The latest body of work opens with the pulsating ‘Your Arms’, a four-on-the-floor dance anthem that interweaves alien synthwave elements over an unforgettable chorus hook.

The ep features du0’s recent singles ‘Echoes’ and ‘Overdrive’ which both feature American R&B/hip-hop artist Reo Cragun, among a few other standout moments like the 80’s nostalgia tinged ‘Summer Nights’ – a feel-good Synth-Pop single that explodes into it’s final run with a euphoric closing saxophone solo, and closing number which features du0’s unique take on Empire of the Sun’s iconic 2009 hit ‘Walking on a Dream’.

If you’re a keen listener of artists like Madeon and Zedd you’ll feel right at home on this dancefloor ready ode to escapism. On creating the EP, du0 shares:

“The theme of the EP ‘Float’ is really about the feeling of being untethered and not caring about what comes next. At times, it’s frowned upon to go through life like that, but there is also such joy in its innocence and ignorance. I wanted the listener to be able to forget about everything for its twenty-minute duration and just float. I got to work with some incredible vocalists and some electronic heroes of mine in Tom and Ian from Icarus and I’m really proud of this body of work.” – du0
