Australian newcomer ZUSO has a great new track to share with us all this week titled ‘Take Me’ which has him teaming up with Los Angeles artist Jaki Nelson for her angelic vocal sounds – and they do work really well sitting amongst ZUSO’s pulsing bassline, atmospheric synths and ambient soundscapes.

“Take Me was actually written around this time last year funnily enough. I was fresh off mixing my EP ‘Lost In Time’ and wanted to make something that was more club-oriented whilst also still maintaining that progressive chill ZUSO vibe. With the hard-hitting bass drop complimented by the melodic lead really gives the song a breath of fresh air which I loved whilst also still providing that sense of escapism and relief. I really wanted to get a hook on this one and was fortunate to come across Jaki who really liked the song and was happy to work on it with me. I sent her a few melodies and we just went from there really, we tried a few ideas and concepts but eventually found a middle ground which we were both really happy with!” ~ ZUSO
