Belgian DJ/producer The Magician dives deep into an 80’s inspired sonic odyssey in his latest single ‘So Naive’, a synth-driven journey injected with a darkened colour palate that rises in intensity significantly through the marvellous depth of production on offer throughout.
The Magician sets the tone from the beginning with a near ‘robotic’ style to his vocals on offer, leading the march forward with some weighty lyricism on offer whilst the supporting troops in the thick synth bass and brittle percussion set the foundations in tact. As we make the journey through, we are led in with the insertion of subtle synths which make their presence felt as we hit the chorus whereby the layers upon layers of synths raise the intensity significantly alongside the addictive melodies on offer.
