Late June - 'Rapids'

Fresh off the release of ‘Flaws’ in January and the announcement of his debut headline show in Auckland, New Zealand-based producer Late June goes from strength to strength in 2024 with the release of a brand new single in ‘Rapids’.

‘Rapids’ sees a clear cohesion to the laid-back and tranquil soundscapes we’ve come to know over a near decade of releases from Late June, all whilst showcasing his growing skillset with a freshness in the instrumentation and groove compiled that ensures the release has that deep-house influence held right in the core of the track.

“Rapids is a deep tech house track I wrote about being up north and exploring the rivers and forestry. Inspired by playing more progressive house music in shows I want to make a song that has a very large extended mix of drums at beginning and end.” – Late June
