Cosmo’s Midnight are back with a new single this week called ‘Fantasy’ which also features London-based duo Franc Moody, and it has all the warm, fuzzy disco feels that you need on a Monday!
Blending funky bass-lines with slick guitar licks and Franc Moody’s insatiable falsettos, this song is going to demand some grooving. It also comes with a super fun Jason Tran directed that helps take this one to all new levels of awesome.
Cosmo’s Midnight reveal; “Fantasy’ came about really naturally with the Franc Moody boys, they add so much instrumental richness and detail. The song is a feverish dreamlike funk jam about losing yourself to the experience of music. Thanks John and Ned for being the funky ying to our stanky yang, When listening; stop thinking and start feeling!”
And Franc Moody add; “After meeting Pat and Cosmo early last year in London they DM’d over the beginnings of an idea they were working on, asking if we’d like to collaborate on it. We set about throwing the FM kitchen sink at it…vocal stacks, squitty synths, and all sorts of general funk apparatus. When we were happy we sent it back for them to sculpt into the record you hear today . Lots of love to Pat and Cosmo for having us onboard for this one!”
