After a little hiatus Brisbane producer oscar oscar is making a triumphant return this week with a powerful new single called ‘Say Too Much’ which, as he reveals below, is a song about finding ways to open up about and deal with mental health. It’s also just the first taste of a whole new album that he has on the way titled “Lean The Other Way”, and if this song is anything to go by we are in for quite a treat!

“Say Too Much” goes back around 6 years. Maybe not having the vocabulary to discuss my own mental health, I think this song began as a tentative step towards opening up about it. This is the first song where I really try to work through some things I experienced a year or so earlier. Which to me, meant some fairly large shifts in my day to day experience. In retrospect, listening through I feel a growing intensity and resolve as the song progresses, as if saying too much about all of these things is exactly what I needed.” ~ oscar oscar
