After months of glorious glimpses of their forthcoming album ‘Far From Younger’, Sydney duo dekleyn (pronounced Decline) provide us with one final sneak peak in the form of their new single ‘So Far From Home’ – a glistening indie/pop gem filled with pristine production and vocals which will make your heart warm.

‘So Far From Home’ centres itself around those stunning vocals of Justin Kleyn that stand tall in the centre in the mix all while the bubbling accompanying instrumentation rises from the surface and explodes in the chorus sections, featuring luscious guitar riffs and punchy drums. ‘So Far From Home’ takes things to a whole new level in the final chorus, where a key change catches you off guard and is the final cherry on top with a masterstroke in production and songwriting which gives the release the most beautiful ending you could imagine.

“So Far From Home is an upbeat energetic tune about a new found love and the struggles of making it work. The words almost feel like a breakup song, but the music masks the disparity, turning it into an optimistic love song. It’s got a catchy, summery hook, and it’s the opening song of the upcoming album ‘Far From Younger’” – dekleyn

Dekleyn will be launching their forthcoming album ‘Far From Younger’ on Saturday October 21st at The Lady Hampshire with Late June (NZ) and Sammi Constantine supporting. Tickets are available here.
