filous & Golden Vessel - 'I Like Where We're Going'

Australian artist Golden Vessel has teamed up with his good Austrian friend Filous for a brand-new ep titled “Golden Vessel produced by Filous” which is scheduled for release in August.

Just a few weeks ago they gave us the first taste of what we can expect with the warm indie/electro sounds of new single ‘Great Big Warm House’, which has been met with much praise and attention from music fans and curators across the globe and has since amassed over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone.

They have another ep single to share with us this week titled ‘I Like Where We’re Going’ which Golden Vessel reveals below might just be one of his favourite songs that he’s ever worked on.

“Matthias had the idea of making an EP together where I would just focus on the singing & songwriting and he would produce me. I was excited & curious how it would turn out, so I flew over to Vienna in March 2022 and we made the whole EP in 4 days.

When I was writing I Like Where We’re Going, the lyrics just flowed out of me very easily. I think it’s one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written & I guess I was writing about blocks in life. When relationships, family, sexuality, work, money all stack on top of each other and don’t work out quite how you envisioned – but looking at it with an ironic optimism that it’ll work out.” ~ Golden Vessel
