AYA J is a new Australian project made up of Angus Field and Sam Miller, who are make some impressive electro-dance music that can be likened to a mix between Hayden James, LANY and RÜFÜS DU SOL.
They’re coming back to us this week with a very awesome new single called ‘Be Your Lover’ which I cannot take off repeat. It’s so uplifting and catchy, and it also comes with a fun Tristan Solar-Young directed music video which helps take the song to a whole new level.
“The theme and idea behind the writing of this song is the idea of a person wanting their partner to give them all of themselves, let go and love them in a way that they have no boundaries or walls up. The idea of this grew from knowing what it feels like to be on the receiving end of someone who is either reserved or not fully invested in your bond with them. I felt it was a familiar theme that people experience in love and can relate to and that others could take away from.” ~ AYA J
