London wunderkind Indigo Eyes delivers a lush and vibrant collection of lo-fi/ambient electronic music through his new EP ‘Close to You’, a four-track offering that is sure to lift your spirits and take you to your own happy place immediately.
Featuring vocals from the likes of LissA, De Rien and Georgie O’Brien, ‘Close to You’ delivers a bright colour palate of sound that is as uplifting as they come. Indigo Eyes utilises that airiness and lightness of the guest vocals and gives them plenty of surrounding spirit and energy through playful synths, grooving beats and fresh bass lines.
“Jaded is definitely the most club-ready track off of the EP. It’s the embodiment of everything I love about the more experimental side of house music, which is exactly what I set out to create when I sat down to write it. The whole instrumental was finished in about a day and Georgie absolutely killed it with the hook, she’s such a talented writer and knew exactly what my vision for the track was.
