Australia’s Banoffee brings forth a powerful synth/pop offering alongside Empress Of titled ‘Tennis Fan’, the latest glimpse of her newly announced debut album ‘Look At Us Now’ which will be released in February 2020.

‘Tennis Fan’ comes through with a strong backbone of crisp drums and warped synths that ensure significant force is maintained throughout the duration of the piece, whilst providing a playfulness in the melodies of both artists bouncing around the mix. With the accompanying music video (directed by Quinn Whitney Wilson (Lizzo)) further signifying the upbeat nature in both the music and lyrics, Banoffee and Empress Of deliver on absolutely all fronts.

“Working with Lorely (Empress Of) and Quinn was such a pleasure and it turned into a daytime slumber party of sorts, with all ideas being welcome and nothing deemed too silly. I hope when people watch this clip they feel the good feelings we were all experiencing at the time. It’s a song about rejecting the yuck stuff but it’s just as much about celebrating the good stuff. I think this video does a great job of showing how strong friendships can make anything unkind feel unimportant and trivial.” – Banoffee
