We’ve got one of the grooviest EP’s that you’ll come across this year for you today courtesy of Canadian producer Sparkee with his latest offering ‘Discovery’ packed full of disco/funk/electronic goodness.

Featuring collaborations with Liinks and Def3, ‘Discovery’ is a concise four track offering but don’t let that fool you. From the word go, you are treated to an uplift in positivity courtesy of some thumping instrumentation filled with colourful synths, charismatic bass lines and punchy drums all melded together with a crystal clear polish.

“It’s no secret that guitar playing is a central theme in most of the tracks on the EP. I’ve been playing for a long time and that’s definitely one way I differentiate myself as an artist but I try not to over-do it. That said, there’s plenty of over-the-top guitar solos on the EP. As the saying goes: “everything in moderation, including moderation.” But that’s all part of the fun and I always want my music to be described as fun” – Sparkee
