Madi – ‘White Horse’ (feat. Robokid)

In the anticipation for her debut EP, Los Angeles songstress Madi provides another glimpse for fans with the release of ‘White Horse’ that depicts a gripping tale about fighting to keep the relationship going through a darkened sound palate which is further heightened through the guest vocals from Robokid.

‘White Horse’ injects a thick smog of darkness immediately into the scenery courtesy of the dark instrumentation utilised to provide an airy texture. Once the thick percussion hits we become witness to the haunting vocals of Madi that perfectly capture the battle within the conflicting storyline of the lyrics, which is strengthened through the mesmerizing falsetto harmonies that reinforce the pure emotion within. Robokid enters the arena during the latter half of the piece, providing a contrasting point of view with a graceful vocal offering that rounds out the battle within this relationship.
