After such a big year of incredible album releases, I’ve found it sooooo hard trying to choose my Top 10. I did however mage to break it down to 10 tops, with another 10 honorable mentions down the bottom.
Three of the artists that I manage via Mammal Sounds released ep’s this year. They were Golden Vessel, Benji Lewis and Midnight Pool Party, and these are collections that I have been listening to well before they were released, so I’ve spent quite a bit of time with them by now, and love them all so very much.
For the most part of the year I was pretty certain that ‘Omnion’ by Hercules & Love Affair was going to be my number one album of the year, but then Baths came along with ‘Romaplasm’ and I was once again blown away by this man’s incredible sound – so that’s where I went for my number one, with H&LA at a very close second.
A huge shout-out goes to everyone mentioned below for being the soundtrack to my 2017. I love you all 🙂
