‘Shurai’ is the second ep from South Korean Producer IMLAY, featuring an impressive six-track collection of tunes that showcase his diverse future-bass/electro-trap sound & style really well.
Now don’t let those words “future-bass/electro-trap” put you off in any way because this ep is an interesting and enjoyable experience. I’ve not heard of IMLAY until now but I sure am grateful for the introduction.
Personally I feel the tracks featuring guest vocalists Decalcomanie, Laura Brehm, Anna Yvette and YESEO a bit more pleasing to my ears, but I can also appreciate the intricate layers of production that have gone into each of these tracks.
