The partnership of Cotton Duck and WEI continues to blossom right before our eyes with a bubbly new single titled ‘Revisit’, an energetic explosion of sound and vivaciousness with a ridiculous amount of colour being splattered around the mix.
A significant level of uplift is prevalent within ‘Revisit’, whereby an injection of positivity and optimism is evident as a core element of the structure. This is achieved through a vibrancy held in the synths utilised, as well as a playful groove in the beats compiled ensuring a formidable partnership of groove and feel good energy is achieved.
“Revisit” was the first track William and I made remotely—him in Singapore, me still in NYC. Even with the distance, it came together super naturally. We built it by reworking bits and pieces from earlier songs on our upcoming EP “SOLSTICE”, so the name felt right.” ~ Cotton Duck
