Fresh off the release of ‘Meet Me By The Ocean’ last month, New Zealand-based producer Late June continues to dive into a deep house influence with his brand new single ‘Places We Go’ which features Melbourne-based artist Fractures on vocals.

‘Places We Go’ sees the best of Late June’s worlds combined with absolute ease, with a clear chilled electronic influence setting the scene for Fracture’s hazy vocals to stand tall and drive the narrative forward. Once we arrive at the chorus, we are met with a hefty injection of groove with the beats and synths complimenting each other amongst the emotive lyricism within.

“Places We Go started as a small piano medley I wrote at about 5pm one day in 2021. I had tried all day to make something I liked, but was annoyed so I went for a walk around Ponsonby to clear my head. When I got home instead of making dinner immediately I finished the track based on the sunset and different places I saw while trying to decompress.” – Late June
