BARLOW - Relief (feat. Keanu)

Australian newcomer BARLOW has a new single to share with us this week called ‘Relief’ which features the voice of Eora/Sydney artist Keanu (who’s sound has some similarities to The Weeknd) and together they’ve delivered an invigorating bass-heavy, garage-house treat which BARLOW says is an ode to overcoming obstacles.

“I wrote this track while coming out of quite a hard time in my life, which was the inspiration for the mood & story behind Relief. I found Keanu while scrolling some new local songs and thought his voice and vibe would fit really nicely with what I’d made. As soon as we started working together everything just clicked and he saw my vision immediately. The story for this track was a lot about the feeling of relief for me, and finally making it through the darkness. “Finally found my relief…”. The dark & moody chorus paired with the angelic vocals really encapsulated what I was envisioning for this project.” ~ BARLOW
