Orange County producer wes mills has a new ep on the way titled “nintendo 64” and this week he’s given us a little taste of what we can expect with his latest single ‘grand slam’ which is ticking all my boxes.

wes mills blends elements UK Garage with indie-dance and atmospheric electronica, creating this lush landscape of euphoric sounds that just feel so good on the ears. As he reveals below, this is a song that has been inspired by his love of sports and movement, and body movement is something this song deserves.

“This song was inspired by movement. I enjoy sports and how there’s so much technique and athleticism that comes with it. I realize that it goes hand in hand with dance and the many intricacies that come with it. So with that being said, I wanted to make a song that is able to portray both and how movement can mean many different things.” ~ wes mills
