MY PLAYLIST is a series where we ask some of our favourite artists to share some of their favourite songs, and while it may give us a bit of insight into some their influences we’re also interested to see what they enjoy listening to when they’re not making music.
This week we’re checking in with Australian artist Kučka who is giving us a look at some of her favourite songs right now, the songs that she says help her find her own imaginative space.
“Here are some of my most recent favourites. I chose these tracks as they all have some kind of textural earthy elements that are great for abstract visualisations. I love listening to these tracks while I’m working on my computer, or doing something meditative like painting. I find that listening to tracks with a lot of texture helps me in getting into a more imaginative space.” – Kučka
Kučka also gave us a great new single last week via Soothsayer called ‘Ascension’, and if you happened to miss it, it also has this very cool Dillon Howl directed video that is very much worth your time.
