Fresh off their packed out show on Cup Eve at The Curtin, Melbourne duo Dual Manner are back at it with the release of their new single ‘Need You Now’ that provides significant groove through an electronic/pop medium.

Drawing echoes to the likes of RUFUS DU SOL and Flight Facilities in their approach, ‘Need You Now’ evokes an upbeat tempo evident in the playful drums that blend in perfectly with the vibrant collection of synths to create a polished instrumentation base for the commanding vocals to swoon across the soundscape with their emotionally driven lyrics.

Accompanied by the choreographed music video that takes place in the alleyways of Melbourne through a night setting, Dual Manner showcase their artistically driven vision with absolute ease through what is an impressive release.

“‘Need You Now’ is about being in a one sided relationship where the other person is distant and does not want to be with you and the thought process of you realising and not understanding what went wrong. In the last verse and chorus it then tells the story of being out of the relationship and just coming to terms with what happened and that maybe your not at fault you have to move on. In a nutshell, it’s about unappreciated love and the feeling of insecurity you feel when going through it.” – Dual Manner
