Yeah Yeah Yeahs front-woman Karen O has teamed up with the legendary Danger Mouse for a full album release, and this week they are giving us the very first taste with the wonderfully exciting sounds of its title-track, ‘Lux Prima’.
‘Lux Prima’ is a dreamy cinematic track with a certain level of glamour and class, so yeah basically all of the things you’d expect from these two amazing artists working together, and it sure does build some excitement & anticipation to hear what else they have in-store for us!
“Lux Prima is the first song we wrote for the record. After making music for the past twenty years and embarking on making this record with Danger Mouse I knew a couple things: one was that the spirit of collaboration between us was going to be a pure one, and two was that the more I live the less is clear to me.
