Australian electronic duo Peking Duk continue the rollout of their long-awaited debut album “Paradise” (presave here) with new single ‘Let Go’, a heartfelt collaboration featuring the unmistakable vocals of Matt Corby.
Written during a session in the Noosa hinterland, ‘Let Go’ sees Corby’s soulful performance elevate an already emotive production, while Peking Duk lean into one of their most vulnerable and cinematic releases to date. Described by Adam Hyde (one-half of Peking Duk) as his favourite song on the album, it’s a reminder that some of the duo’s strongest moments arrive when they slow things down and let the emotion take centre stage.
Matt Corby shares; “Whilst in the middle of a writing session with my good mate Nat Dunn in her Sunshine Coast hinterland paradise, the Peking Duk boys rocked up and surprised us. They played us what they were working on for the next album, and I loved it. We ended up adding some fun musical and melodic ideas to a couple of tracks they were working on. They liked what we did enough to use on their new single’”
