Tokyo-based Yuki Abe, known as producer/DJ Boys Get Hurt has come through with a superb mix of deepened and enlightening instrumentation that equates to a new single titled ‘statics’ which balances tranquility and groove together in a magnificent manner.
‘statics’ sets an enlightenment in tact in the initial stages with some lo-fi influences in the keys compiled, creating a vast spaciousness in the mix that gives plenty of room for those deepened beats and bass combination to hold down the backbone. When these worlds combine, an effortlessness is exerted from the core and spread all across the soundscape with a gentle feeling held in the instrumentation all while a welcomed groove adds that little touch of vigour.
