French multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Anoraak provides us with his first full-length release in nearly a decade through the superb ‘Golden Hour’, which as the title suggests is a bright and joyous offering filled with sun-kissed goodness.
Across the fourteen tracks on offer, we see a clear objective to get the listeners moving and grooving no matter what. That is achieved through some of the funkiest grooves we’ve come across, held tightly in the rock-solid percussion and absolutely sublime bass that sets the uplifting tone in tact for the striking synths and riveting vocals to add further rays of sunshine across the soundscape.
