Brighton-born producer and DJ El Train and Los Angeles DJ and producer goodie bags have been cooking up a storm with the highly-anticipated release of a forthcoming EP ‘Drifting’ coming our way, and this week they’ve gifted us with a fresh new single ‘Superstar’ which features the stunning vocals of Ruby Wood.
‘Superstar’ evokes a considerable amount of groove and flavour amongst its duration, mainly evident in the rock-solid foundations on display held in the crunchy percussion and sublime bass line ensuring an effortlessness is central to the overall flow of the release. With plenty of room for Wood’s sensational vocal delivery to stand tall in the centre of the mix and magnetise all within its path, ‘Superstar’ melds all these elements together with absolute ease to produce a laid-back and fresh feeling across its delicious soundscape on offer.
