A superb collaborative effort between DJ Koze and Damon Albarn titled ‘Pure Love’ has us feeling all kinds of good on this Friday, with a uniqueness in the soundscape offering up a balance of brightness and organic bliss throughout its journey.
‘Pure Love’ utilises a rawness in its instrumentation compiled, utilising a mixture of guitars and brittle percussion to set the tone in tact. With those soaring vocals sitting tall in the centre of the mix, ‘Pure Love’ manages to give each element plenty of space to make its presence felt and once combined in the chorus section, they all take full flight in a beautiful array of sound and influence compiled.
