Australian outfit GAUCI have seen astronomical growth over the last few years with feature performances at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney, as well as a plethora of new music that has impressed across all fronts and now they are back with another collection of cross-genre brilliance in the form of their ‘Growing Pains’ mixtape.
‘Growing Pains’ sees the culmination of organic and electronic instrumentation melded into each other to result in a soaring collection of sounds that take listeners on a profound journey. With elements of rock influence through those emphatic guitars and crispy percussion on offer, GAUCI provide elements of electronic influence with insertions of synths and electronic drums that intertwine with each other in a pristine manner.

I said to David and Antonia when we were picking the songs to put on this record that I wanted it to be a no skip summer road trip record.
