Kaskade & Lauren L'aimant - 'Save Me'

It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Kaskade, but today he’s back to make up for lost time with a smashing display of darkened electronic/deep house with the release of ‘Save Me’, a superb release that features that utterly divine vocals of Lauren L’aimant that intertwine with the crisp instrumentation with absolute ease that results in a masterclass of production.

‘Save Me’ inserts a slight sense of mysteriousness and wonder in the initial stages of the offering, with a minimalistic approach to the composition including the introduction of the groove alongside some sparse synths and pads that set the fogginess in tact for L’aimant’s stunning vocals to drive the emotionally-fuelled melodies through. Once we arrive at the chorus, we are met with a greater deep house presence with the percussion unleashing itself and providing plenty a platform for moving and grooving alongside the synths that truly intensify the mix.
