Los Angeles-based dance music duo Syence bring forth a tantalising release titled ‘skydrivin’, which as the name suggests launches into outer space with a soaring soundscape filled with deep house inspiration which also sees the enlisting of Jake Neumar on vocals that adds the final cherry on top of this pristine production.
‘Skydrivin’ begins with an off-kilter styled groove which invites us all into the warm and glowing soundscape in a gentle manner that is further accentuated by Neumar’s calming vocal presence melding into the mix beautifully. As we near the chorus, the vocal production shines to a premium level with those stunning harmonies working in tandem alongside the rising percussion which launches in the chorus into an explosive and addictive passage filled with uplift and drive.
