YOLANDA BE COOL has just dropped a super fun housey treat with hella-funky vibe called “Segunda” featuring Jonjon, which they say was inspired by Chris Lake at a party in Seattle last summer, and we just couldn’t resist giving it a little push on the site.
“We played with Chris Lake at the Black Book Records party in Seattle last summer and we loved the diversity of his set so much and went away inspired to make a song for his sets that would also be true to our sound. We’ve loved Baile funk vibes forever so being able to get Jonjon from the legendary Furacao 2000 onto the track and then have Chris give it the big thumbs up, was a dream come true.
