Gold Coast artist Saint Barae has a new single for us this week called ‘Blissing You’ which is a sweet indie-pop treat on the surface, but as he reveals below, this song is all about the enjoyment of giving pleasure to your significant other.

“I wrote ‘Blissing You’ about the joy that comes from giving someone pleasure in a relationship – and how that was a significant stepping stone for me into becoming my authentic self as a queer man. I was really inspired by my synth pop roots when writing this track and wanted to bring the sound I created on my first record into my new world. The whole track is infused with my love for colourful pop production with bright sparkly guitar licks, grooving lofi bass lines and an overall bubbling and bright soundscape.” ~ Saint Barae

Over the last few years Saint Barae has explored a variety of different pop flavoured sounds, styles and ideas, and I honestly thing he’s found himself wth this one.

Sidenote; Saint Barae, aka Josh Bell, also writes for Acid Stag and you can check out his work RIGHT HERE
