Australian-bred / UK-based producer Ordley has a new single for us this week called ‘Still Here’ which is a welcome to the change of season with its thumping indie-dance beats and warm percussions, which all comes together to create this fun and nostalgic atmosphere that is very easy to get lost in.
As Ordley reveals below this song was written during a dark & cold winter in London where he did nothing but write music.
“My latest release ‘still here’ came after a long season of experimenting and artistic discovery for me. I spent the winter in London, it was dark and cold and I did nothing but make music. During this time I did a lot of reflecting on seasons in my life and an idea I kept coming back to was, after every dark season, all the things I loved were still there, right where I left them. This idea inspired the track. Production wise, this one is quite minimal but all the elements work really nicely together, everything pulls its weight and I love the finished product. I think overall it’s a feel good, indie-dance track that’s both nostalgic and fun.” ~ Ordley
