Austin-bred duo Bronze Whale combine forces with Martron for a sonic delight in the form of their collaborative single ‘Blooming’, a textural delight with layers upon layers of production depth that rises from the surface beautifully and leads into a masterful display of musicianship.
‘Blooming’ opens itself up to us through an atmospheric bliss of pads and deepened percussion setting the earthy tones in place alongside those gentle melodies which providing a soothing sensation across the soundscape. As ‘Blooming’ continues, we continue to see the wide array of influence on display with an electronic injection of synths and vocal chops scattered across the mix all while the richness of the pianos adds a welcomed depth to the equation.
“Aaron began developing Bloom as an instrumental with our friend and fellow producer, Martron. I (Benny) knew instantly that there was another story within the song. We really loved the direction of the instrumental though, and decided to release Bloom without vocals. It kept tugging at me though, so I ripped the final .wav and started deconstructing it, turning it into this chill indie version I had in my head. After sharing it with Aaron and Martron, we knew it was meant to be two songs, so we decided to create Bloom & Blooming.” – Bronze Whale
