ROSS 248 - 'Blinded by Your Light'

South-Korean newcomer ROSS 248 (named after a small star in the northern constellation of Andromeda) may only have a few songs under her belt so far but she is off to a very fine start in my opinion.

She has just given us her third ROSS 248 single ‘Blinded by Your Light’ which is a beautifully chilled and emotionally driven track that just hits all the sweet-spots with it’s smooth instrumental arrangements, atmospheric production and the delicate vocal sounds of Vanessa Murray.

“I wrote the song while living in Liverpool, this song has a lot of meaning for me personally. I wanted to make sure, the bass sound is good enough in the production since my dear friend Audun Laading (aka. Her’s) played bass for the song. The line ‘Blinded by Your Light’ came up with Audun while we were chatting about poetic lines and it inspired me enough to write the whole song not long after. When I think about the ‘light’ and being blinded at the same time because I fall for someone completely is quite a romantic scene.

Following this, Vanessa Murray helped me to finish the lyrics and performed vocals on the song. Her voice adds a sweetness-charm atmosphere which I think is incredible as I intended those feelings with chill-laidback vibes in the production.
