Australian alt-pop collective Alter Boy are back with a new single this week titled ‘Like Home’ which has a very captivating sound that’s quite hard to resist. Much like their previous releases in that sense, but I feel their sound just keeps getting stronger with each new one.

“Like Home is about breaking toxic family cycles and recovering the authentic self-following narcissistic abuse in childhood. The song ends in a hopeful place with a lyric about love – I’ve been running since I was nine, I leave it behind, yearning for it since I was nine, I don’t need it anymore I’ve got mine.” ~ Alter Boy (Molly)

The band do have a bunch of festival appearances happening across Australia throughout March, including Sydney World Pride this Sunday (March 5) – see all dates below then click here for ticketing info
