With a plethora of singles already under their belt this year including ‘Over Again’, ‘Save My Name’ and ‘Did We Move Too Fast’ and their sold out headline show at The Oxford Art Factory, Sydney indie pop duo dekleyn (pronounced Decline) continue to further hone in on their trademark catchy stylings with their new single ‘Never Gone’.
Teaming up once again with Mark Zito (Fractures) on co-production, ‘Never Gone’ is an emotionally-fuelled rollercoaster packed with buzzing guitar riffs and uplifting synths that will tug right at your heart strings which also provides listeners with another glimpse of dekleyn’s forthcoming sophomore album next year.
On the new single, Dekleyn says that ‘Never Gone is about finding the best of a bad situation, making a relationship work at the worst of times. It’s about a love that’s worth fighting for and the back and forth struggle to come out of the hard times stronger.’
Dekleyn will be celebrating the release of ‘Never Gone’ with an east coast tour across Australia that will see the duo performing shows at Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel and Melbourne’s Gasometer Hotel (Upstairs) kicking off this week on the below dates and can get their tickets here.
