I spent a lot of time this weekend laying on the beach (Bondi Beach) soaking up the Aussie sunshine, reading a book and listening to Rhye’s new album “Home”, and I really don’t think there could have been a better soundtrack for those two very lazy and scorching hot summer days.
I’m a hardcore Rhye fan so this album is an easy win for me. I love it from start to finish and can listen to it on loop for hours without getting over it. A few words that came to mind while listening to this album were dreamy, majestic and of course utterly beautiful. There’s something about those smooth R&B/soul sounds that just hit all my sweet spots.
He has indeed done it again and for that I say thank you, thank you, thank you!
