Chilean producer Sistek continues to show us why he is one of rising stars in the electronic/pop realm through his latest stunner ‘Simple’, which features some brilliant vocal work for Knightly and Josh Wood.
As the name suggests, ‘Simple’ initiates through humble beginnings of the acoustic guitar and bright claps which work hand in hand with the smooth vocal offerings of both artists playing off each other. Sistek perfectly manipulates the echoed ‘oohs’ to raise the intensity in the lead up to the chorus, and once it arrives it’s well and truly worth the wait. Featuring a thumping bass, emphatic kick drum piercing through and the siren nature of the vocal samples, these elements add the final ingredient to a well polished offering.
