Los Angeles singer/songwriter TRACE brings forth yet another taste from her upcoming EP ‘Like Hell’ out next month with the R&B inspired down tempo offering ‘Crushing’.
‘Crushing’ utilises the breathy tones of TRACE to carry forth the emotional context within the lyrics, whilst creating significant space in the mix with a minimalistic approach instrumentally. Furthermore, with the injection of a thick layer of fog through the atmospheric pads, ‘Crushing’ haunts and echoes throughout its whole duration – resulting in a mesmerising number.
