Just a few weeks back we were treated to a few very nice covers by Melbourne producer and songwriter Tyson Kraft (‘What Is Love’ by Haddaway & a cover/mash-up of Travis Scott’s‘Goosebumps’ with Childish Gambino’s ‘Heartbeat’), and as it turns out they were just a warm up for things to come.
Today Tyson Kraft is giving us a brand new original tune called ‘Haunt Me’ which features the gorgeous voice of rising Melbourne artist Tiff Fung, and it all comes from a place of discovery and self-expression.
“I used to feel this restlessness about having to push myself to no ends to make it. This year, I am just doing me. Expressing myself, trying new things creatively, connecting with new people and just enjoying every step of this incredible journey. For a period of time, I had lost sight of why I was actually making music, and forgot the simple fact that music brings me so much happiness, and is a gift that I can share with lots of people.” – Tyson Kraft
Earlier this year Tyson Kraft travelled to Thailand for a working placement, and while he was there he taught Grade 1 and Grade 2 blind students how to read and speak English.
“I would like to dedicate this song to my amazing students at the Bangkok School for the Blind. Thank you for showing me how incredible you all are, and how you deal so effortlessly with challenges and setbacks. In the end, I think you all taught me more than I could ever teach you.” – Tyson Kraft
‘Haunt Me’ is available everywhere now including Spotify & Apple Music.
