When listening to the introduction to ‘Red Lights,’ it takes us back to those summer afternoons of driving down the boardwalk and feeling the salt-scented wind blow against our faces, with the alluring, refreshing ocean calling for us to take a dip.
Kill Paris has paired up with Swedish singer-songwriter Dotter for an essential summer-time tune with its soft foreboding chords, whispery vocals and its refreshing fusion of organic and electronic elements. Its filling sound only adds to the appeal, along with the stress and energy in the drums and percussion. Released on Lowly Palace (the record label of Trap Nation), ‘Red Lights’ couldn’t be coming at a better time.
For Kill Paris, this new single is yet another successful single to add to his string of notable releases, having broken out in 2013 and 2014 with releases on OWSLA. Since then, Paris has toured internationally with widely acclaimed artist Zedd and joined Bassnectar on a North American tour. He’s again toured internationally to support his debut album ‘Galaxies Between Us’.
With a substantial reputation and repertoire of music already under his reign, Kill Paris will be releasing his forthcoming EP, “Awakening” at the beginning of 2018
