Today we have this cute indie-electro-pop track to share with you from a duo out of Sydney who call themselves Lamalo, it’s called ‘Come Over’ and it features fellow Sydneysider Hayden Buchanan taking care of the vocals.
There’s a real sense of sadness in Buchanan’s sorrowful lyrics as he sings a heartfelt ode to a once lost love, all the while a flirtatious guitar melody and a bubbly synth both balance out that sadness with an uplifting jazzy vibe to create a unique and enjoyable sound.
“The lyrics for ‘Come Over’ tell the story of a couple growing apart as they follow their own dreams. It explores the emotions of finding yourself in a long distance relationship. It is an ode to Hayden Buchanan’s ex,” Lamalo said.
